Description
This album is a collection of twelve songs written for various psalms with the accompaniment of the lyre. My hope is that these more simple tunes provide songs that are easy to pray with as well as to play, if desired. Included is sheet music to all twelve songs of the album, Singing with David. The music is written for the 16-string lyre but could be adapted to any hammered or plucked instrument. Each song includes two copies 1) traditional notation 2) traditional notation with TAB (see photos for details)
God willing, this will be the first of many similar albums through which scripture is sung and prayed together with simplicity, beauty, and love.
